Cloudbeds are a software company simplifying the complicated world of hotel bookings: payments, reservations, and reporting so their clients can spend time on their most important job, taking care of their guests. Through their software suite, Cloudbeds enable properties to compete alongside the biggest brands in hospitality, no matter their size.

Green Turtle helped them with a herculean upgrade from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.0, which in the process reduced the memory requirements of their servers and increased page load speeds. This was helped by transitioning to OPcache with Preload enabled, and increasing the usage of types.

Thanks to our assistance, their REST APIs and client applications are running 10% faster on the same number of servers, meaning as they scale they won’t need quite as many servers smashing through resources.
